Coffee co-op goes online

Collaborative effort helps Rwandan agriculture

WSU graduate student Ashley Giesa (left) teaches coffee growers in Maraba, Rwanda, how to use laptop computers to track coffee prices and communicate with clients around the world. Three students, along with PI Colleen Taugher and Virgil Crampton of the Center to Bridge the Digital Divide, and Jerman Rose, professor of Entrepreneurial Studies in the College of Business, traveled to Africa in July in collaboration with the Partnership for Enhancing Agriculture in Rwanda through Linkages (PEARL).
